Glenquey Quarry - yet another change
Malcolm Best has emailed to say that the two planning applications concerning Glenquey Quarry are no longer on the agenda of PKC Planning Committe Meeting to be held on Wednesday 15th February 2012 "as there are legal issues to be resolved". The items are on the draft agenda for 7th March.
He adds the following advice for those who wish to attend the meeting.
You are probably wondering - So what happens now and what do I need to do? The answers to these questions are:
1. Early next week all those people and organisations that submitted valid representations (for or against) on one or both of these applications will receive a letter from PKC advising them of the meeting and asking whether they wish to speak at the meeting.
2. If you do wish to speak I believe you will need to inform PKC by the Friday before the meeting.
3. If the DCC receive, what they consider to be too many requests to speak, they will ask people to group together and appoint someone to speak on their behalf. I anticipate that each speaker will be allowed 5 minutes to speak, maybe nearer 10 as there are 2 applications.
4. At this time I do not know whether the Planning Officers are recommending approval of the applications or not and if yes whether they are recommending any conditions be attached. I am told the Planning Officers' recommendations will be made available to the public as soon as they have been shared with the DCC members. I understand you can ask that a copy be posted or emailed to you. I also believe the recommendations will be available on the PKC Planning website, but only after they have been made available to the DCC members.
Minutes of MCC Meeting of 1st June 2011 and MCC Response to Muckhart Conservation Area Appraisal draft document are now on Community Council page.
Wind Prospect, the wind farm company which was successful in securing planning permission from Clackmannanshire Council for the 13 turbine wind farm at Burnfoot Hill in the Ochils north of Tillicoultry, wishes to increase the number of turbines by up to 22, making a possible total of 35. For a map of the planned extension, click on Burnfoot Wind Farm Development.
Information concerning Glenquey Quarry, including Clackmannanshire Council report on PKC application to extend licence, is now on the Community Council page.
Muckhart Conservation Area Appraisal. The latest version of the appraisal document is now available on Community Council Page.
Planning Applications have been submitted for the erection of one house at the Coach House, Mosspark (Ref 11/00124/FULL) and for the demolition of the existing house and the erection of a replacement house at Rowberrow, Drumburn Road (Ref 11/00096/FULL). It was agreed at the meeting on 1st June that the Community Council would support the application for the erection of a house close to the Coach House at Moss Park provided a way could be found by the Council to ensure that the new property was ancillary to the Coach House and that it cannot, at some future date be sold separately from the Coach House. It was decided that no comment would be made on the application ref: 11/00096/FULL.
To celebrate the 100 years of the Coronation Hall, several events are being organised. See News and Events page and Coronation Hall page for details.
