Dollar Twinning

Dollar is twinned with La Ville aux Dames in the Loire Valley, a few kilometres east of Tours. This year it is the turn of the people from the Dollar area to visit the French. Travel will be by coach and ferry from Hull to Zebrugge with overnight cabins. The dates are 20th July to 28th July. The cost will be £383 which includes all travel costs, accommodation with families in La Ville aux Dames, and a full programme of activities and visits in France. Muckhart Baby and Toddler Group

The Muckhart Baby and Toddler Group meets at the Coronation Hall on Tuesdays from 9.30 - 11.30 am, definitely in term time and sometimes during the holidays. The cost is £20 per term per family. Tea and coffee are provided for adults, and a snack and a drink for children. The group has plenty of stimulating toys, offers craft activities and trips out, and is very friendly. Mucky Pups Out of School Club

The Mucky Pups Out of School Club provides after school, in service and holiday care for children between 4 and 14 years old. It meets Monday to Friday from 3.15 pm until 6.00 pm in the Coronation Hall. For details go to the web site www.muckypupsclub.com .    (June 2011)
